How to Hide a Shipping Method?

Steps to Hide a Shipping Method using Ultimate Checkout Customizer

  1. Open the App
    • Go to your Shopify Admin.
    • Navigate to Apps > Ultimate Checkout Customizer.
  2. Go to "Shipping Customizations"
    • In the app dashboard, find the "Shipping Customizations" block.
    • Click the “Manage” button under it.
  3. Create a Rule-Set
    • Click on the “Create Customization” button located at the top right corner.
    • Select the "Hide Shipping Method" option.
  4. Add Customization Information and Set Conditions
    • Enter a Customization Name
      This is the title of your rule-set. Use a descriptive name for future reference (e.g., "Hide Express Shipping for Remote Areas").
    • Enter the Exact Name of the Shipping Method
      Type the shipping method name exactly as it appears at checkout (e.g., Standard Shipping, Express, Free Shipping).
    • Add Conditions
      Click the “Add Conditions” button to define when this shipping method should be hidden. You can base the rule on:
      • Cart Total
      • Country
      • Customer Tag
      • Customer Type
      • Product Tag
      • Shipping Country
      • Line Item Properties

      Note: If you don’t set any conditions, the shipping method will be hidden for all customers.

      You can add multiple conditions using OR or ANY logic for advanced scenarios.

  5. Save and Publish
    • Once the shipping method and conditions are configured, click “Save” to activate the rule-set.

Hide "Express Shipping" for orders under $500 Enter “Express Shipping” → Set condition: Cart Total < $500
Hide "Free Shipping" for international customers Enter “Free Shipping” → Set condition: Country is not equal to "United States"
