How to Offer Discount on Shipping Method?

Steps to Create a Discount on a Shipping Method using Ultimate Checkout Customizer

1. Open the App
   • Go to your Shopify Admin.
   • Navigate to Apps > Ultimate Checkout Customizer.
2. Go to "Discount on Shipping Method"
   • In the app dashboard, find the "Discount on Shipping Method" block.
   • Click the “Manage” button under it.
3. Create a Rule-Set and add Customization Information and Set Discount
   • Click on the “Create Customization” button in the top right corner.
   • Enter a Customization Name
     Provide a meaningful name for the rule-set to help you manage it later (e.g., "Free Express Shipping on Orders Above $1000").
   • Set the Discount Type and Value
     Choose the type of discount:
     • Percentage (e.g., 50% off)
     • Fixed amount (e.g., $5 off)
     • Free shipping (100% discount)
   • Enter the Shipping Method Name
     Type the exact name of the shipping method you want to apply a discount to (e.g., Express, Standard Shipping, Local Delivery).
   • Add Conditions (Optional)
     Click the “Add Conditions” button to define when the discount should be applied. You can choose from:
     • Cart Total
     • Country
     • Customer Tag
     • Customer Type
     • Product Tag
     • Shipping Country

     Note: If no condition is set, the discount will be applied to the shipping method for all customers.

     You can combine multiple conditions using OR and ANY logic.

4. Save and Publish
   • Once the shipping method, discount, and conditions are configured, click “Save” to apply the rule and make it live during checkout.
