How to Reorder a Payment Method?
Steps to Reorder Payment Methods using Ultimate Checkout Customizer

Open the App
- Go to your Shopify Admin.
- Navigate to Apps > Ultimate Checkout Customizer.

Go to "Payment Customizations"
- In the app dashboard, find the "Payment Customizations" block.
- Click the “Manage” button under it.

Create a Rule-Set
- Click on the “Create Customization” button in the top right corner.
- Select the "Reorder Payment Methods" option.

Add Customization Information and Set Order

Enter a Customization Name
This is the title of your rule-set. Use a descriptive name to help you manage customizations (e.g., "Priority UPI for Indian Customers"). -
Reorder the Payment Method
Set your preferred order for the shipping method. -
Enter the Original Payment Method Name
Type the exact name of the payment method you want to reorder (e.g., Standard Shipping, Express, Free Shipping). -
Add Conditions (Optional)
- Click on the “Add Conditions” button to apply this order only under certain conditions. You can choose from:
- Cart Total
- Country
- Customer Tag
- Customer Type
- Product Tag
- Shipping Country
- Line Item Properties
- Note: If no condition is set, the custom order will apply to all customers by default.
- You can combine multiple conditions using OR or ANY logic as per your needs.

Enter a Customization Name

Save and Publish
- After arranging the payment methods and setting conditions (if needed), click “Save” to apply the rule.
Example Use Cases

Show UPI before Credit Card for Indian customers | Set order: UPI → Credit Card → Others → Set condition: Country is India |
Always show PayPal as the first option | Reorder PayPal to the top and save without conditions |
